ENVIRONMENT AND SAFETY

A healthy environment plays a major role for us. That is why we pay special attention to sustainable materials and production processes, ecological compatibility, waste avoidance, resource conservation and recycling. For example, we only purchase green electricity from hydropower and at the same time invest in electricity-saving measures at our production site.

With each of our writing instruments, we achieve a leading CO₂ footprint in the industry per metre of writing length, because in terms of ecological footprint, a product “Made in Germany” clearly exceeds other imported products.  

Senator® products are always the safe choice and fulfil all legal requirements. To us, the Sedex membership is as self-evident as the certification according to ISO 9001 and 14001.

CLIMATE PROTECTION

Another important step in holistic climate protection is the offsetting of greenhouse gases. For us, this means not only continuing our efforts to reduce them, but also recording unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions and offsetting them through climate protection projects.

With the climate neutrality of our company, we support both regional and global climate protection projects. In this way, we also promote the achievement of the global Sustainable Development Goals, such as the fight against poverty or the improvement of living conditions in 

emerging and developing countries.
